China Empire Offshore Engineering Equipment Manufacture Co., Ltd (China Empire Marine Equipment Factory) was established in 2002. The company is located in Jingjiang City Jiangsu Province at the north shore of Jiangyin Yangtze Bridge, 180km away from Shanghai and nearby Shanghai-Nanjing Railway and Expressway. Company occupies a land area of 48,000㎡, of which construction area of 33,000㎡. Enterprise is equipped with mechanical processing, cold welding, assembly and other production departments. We mainly design and produce various ship rudder (flap rudder, tail rudder, twisted rudder and other high lifting rudder), shaft system, marine engineering equipment, stern frame, stern roller, nozzle, ship deck machinery and accessory parts, deck fittings, metal welded structural parts and so on. Currently we has been successfully recognized as qualified supplier of CSSC, CSIC, COSCO, CNOOC, ABB, Fincantini, Maersk and others. The company has a professional expert technical team, committed to the development and design of ship energy-saving products, has manufactured for 400,000DWT, 317,000DWT, 176,000DWT, 156,000DWT, 80,300DWT, 79,600DWT, 76,000DWT, 57,300DWT oil tanker, bulk carrier, container ship, ocean engineering ship and etc. We can not only manufacture according to GB, JIS standards and LR, DNV, GL, ABS, NK, BV, RINA, KR, RS, CCS and other classification rules, but also design and manufacture all kinds of non-standard products including various types of mechanical processing products and steel structure according to customer requirement. Since the establishment of the enterprise, the company has produced nearly a thousand sets of ship rudder system (including rudder blade, rudder bearing, rudder stock and other parts), shaft system, stern frame, stern roller, nozzle, ship energy saving products (flap rudder, tail rudder, wake improving duct, pre-shrouded vanes, hub vortex absorbed fins, sailing navaids). Recent years, the deep water detector launching device developed together with Ocean University of China and China Empire is kind of special deck equipment designed for launching and recovering deep water survey device. This equipment is now acting an important role in many deep water operations like sampling, CTD investigation. Our cooperation with German company MM-Offshore GmbH, combining the strength of both companies in designing and producing of high efficiency rudder products as twisted rudder, provides customers with more advanced and more professional marine rudder products. More energy-saving equipment such as mechanical sail cooperated with China Ship Scientific Research Center had been installed on board and welcomed its first voyage in December 2014. The application of this equipment has achieved the design goal of 5%-10% energy saving on the basis that all navigation performance requirement of the vessel has been achieved. The success of this project is a breakthrough in key technology of sailing and symbolizes a significant step in the development of wind propulsion green ship technology, engineering applications and industrialization.
Company is fully equipped with various mechanical machines including more than 50 sets different sizes of equipment such as lathes, boring machines, planning machines, grinding machines, milling machines, CNC equipment and etc. Among those, there are heavy-duty CNC lathe which can process φ2500*14000mm work piece weight to 63T, 10*2.5 m heavy-duty floor boring and milling machine, as well as 120T large gantry crane.
We established a quality management system with a complete material testing and chemical analysis test system, and achieved ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, OHSA18001:2007 quality ,environment , occupational health and safety system certificate. China Empire has also achieved factory type approval certificate from DNV-GL BV and LR. Production of products were approved and qualified with certificate issued by LR, DNV, GL, ABS, NK, BV, RINA, KR, RS, CCS and other classification societies.
